Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking

  1. Prepare and cook vegan fast food items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
  2. Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation of all menu items.

Kitchen Operations

  1. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen work area at all times.
  2. Follow daily prep lists and station setup procedures.

Health & Safety Compliance

  1. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (local and internal).
  2. Properly handle and store ingredients, including temperature control for plant-based items.

Inventory & Waste Management

  1. Monitor ingredient usage, minimize waste, and report low stock or spoilage to the kitchen supervisor or outlet manager.
  2. Assist with stock rotation and proper labeling of prepped items.

Equipment Handling

  1. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly (grills, fryers, ovens, blenders, etc.).
  2. Report any equipment issues promptly.

Team Collaboration

  1. Work effectively as part of a kitchen team to ensure timely service, especially during peak hours.
  2. Support front-of-house staff with special requests and dietary needs.


Key Requirements:

Education, Experience & Skills

  1. Bachelor in Hotel / Hospitality Management
  2. At least 3–5 years of cooking experience in a fast food or casual dining environment (vegan or vegetarian experience is a strong plus).
  3. Basic knife skills and familiarity with plant-based ingredients and substitutes.

Knowledge of Vegan Cuisine

  1. Understanding of vegan dietary principles and common food allergens.
  2. Passion for plant-based food and innovation in vegan cooking.

Certifications (Preferred)

  1. Food Handler’s Certificate or local food safety certification.
  2. Any additional training in culinary arts or plant-based cooking is a plus.

Work Ethic & Reliability

  1. Punctual, dependable, and able to work under pressure.
  2. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Team Player

  1. Cooperative and respectful communication with coworkers and supervisors.
  2. Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
