Vacancy Description

Duties:

  1. Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and preparing building materials under the direction of supervisors or foremen.
  2. Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, mortar, or asphalt.
  3. Operate basic hand tools and, when trained, assist in handling light machinery.
  4. Load, unload, and organize construction materials and equipment on-site.
  5. Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
  6. Support skilled workers (masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by providing necessary tools and materials.
  7. Clean and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  1. Work under the supervision of site supervisors/foremen to complete assigned tasks safely and correctly.
  2. Follow all safety rules, instructions, and site regulations at all times.
  3. Report hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe practices immediately to supervisors.
  4. Use tools, machinery, and protective equipment responsibly to avoid accidents.
  5. Contribute to the timely completion of construction projects by maintaining productivity and teamwork.
  6. Adapt to different tasks and flexible working hours as required by project demands.
  7. Uphold company and site standards for quality, discipline, and safety.
